Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon, Guy's & St Thomas NHS Hospital; Associate Professor, Kings College London, UK Jean-Pierre Jeannon is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat – Head & Neck Surgeon at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital (GSTT) in London. He was appointed in January 2002, Guys has become one of the largest Head & Neck units in the United Kingdom.
He is an Honorary Associate Professor (Reader) in Head and Neck Surgery at Kings College, London. His area of expertise is Head & Neck Oncology, he has a tertiary referral practice which includes oral cancer, skin cancer, thyroid cancer, Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) and orbital oncology collaborating with Moorfields Eye Hospital. |
He has published 110 peer-reviewed publications and is lead investigator in several phase 1 and phase 3 trials. His research interests include robotics, genomics & CHAR T cell immunotherapy. He has pioneered Robotic Assisted Orbital Surgery (RAOS), a novel robotic surgical approach to orbital malignancy.
Jean-Pierre graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1991, he did basic surgical training in the West Midlands and higher surgical training in Newcastle upon Tyne. He did an advanced head and neck oncology surgical training fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto Canada.
