Dr ​Andy Dowley

Rhinologist & Facial Plastics ORL Surgeon, Hawke's Bay, NZ

Andy is a rhinologist and facial plastics ORL surgeon. He lived and trained in the UK where he did his higher surgical training in South Trent Region and Queens Medical Centre. He then went on to do a Rhinology Fellowship in Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust before working as a Consultant in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Whilst there he was programme director for education for PGY 1 and 2. He also taught regularly at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh as Faculty for their Basic Surgical Skills course and was Faculty for the Cambridge Endoscopic Sinus anatomy course. He moved to Hawkes Bay in 2009, where he is the lead clinician, doing what he enjoys in Rhinology and Facial Plastics, particularly Sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, skin cancer excision and reconstruction. He has a passion for teaching and building a strong team by encouraging growth of those around him.
