Jo McCann

Jo McCann is a senior sonographer and educator from Hamilton, New Zealand. Currently she is a Clinical Lecturer for the Point of Care Ultrasound Programme (PoCUS) at Otago Medical School, Charge Sonographer at Hutt Hospital, President-Elect for the ASUM-Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Administrative Councillor for WFUMB- Word Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology.
Jo volunteers for several ultrasound outreach programmes in the Pacific where she teaches ultrasound to sonographers and PoCUS clinicians. Jo was recently named the 2024 New Zealand Sonographer of the Year by ASA- Australasian Sonographers Association. |
